About
Pinellas FNPS
The Florida Native Plant Society was organized in 1980 to promote the
preservation, conservation, and restoration of the native plants
and native plant communities of Florida.
SPEAKERS: Pinellas Chapter members gather to hear an entertaining
and informative speaker at 7 p.m. on the first Wednesday of each
month. Beginning in January 2008, we will meet at Pinellas County Extension, 12520 Ulmerton Road, Largo. Join us and
in addition to the program you will enjoy refreshments, a silent
auction of plants, and a quick roundup of compelling local environmental
issues and upcoming events.
The public is welcome at all
meetings and all field trips. (See our Calendar for upcoming speakers, directions
and maps.)
FIELD TRIPS: These are usually held the Saturday
following the monthly membership meeting. Carpooling is encouraged.
Consult the program calendar for dates, times and
locations, or call the Pinellas FNPS Info Line: (727) 544-7341.
